We have run it for 25-30K miles in my dads 05 with no pyro and its never blew up or puked a head gasget & this truck gets ran HARD. The EGR system is only there because of the government. When it's working properly, it's killing the fuel economy, killing the performance and generating a ton of steam that ends up backing up into the oil cooler and then the water pump.
