WebSafety Screenings for Better Performance Fitness for Duty Exams If your employer believes that a medical condition is making it unsafe for you to do your job, they may order a fitness-for-duty exam. These exams are designed for the person being examined, so they’re usually different for everyone. Webfitness for duty evaluation is warranted. If so, they will submit a written request for a fitness for duty evaluation to the ADA Coordinator. The ADA Coordinator will assess the request, gather more information if needed, and make a determination as to whether the employee should undergo a fitness for duty evaluation.
