Ffxiv borderless window
WebJun 10, 2016 · FFXIV Always load in windowed mode Since the most recent patch, my client opens in a reduced windowed mode, ie, a small window half the size of my screen. This is despite the fact that I have it set as borderless window. So each time I open the client I have to set it to windowed mode then back to borderless.

Webyes, and this is what I do: put it into regular windowed mode. Once you have it there, switch it over to the display that you want and make it fullscreen. Once you have accepted fullscreen mode, open the graphics again and select borderless fullscreen. It seems stupid that it won't let you do it another way, but that's just how it goes I guess.
WebBorderless give you, as everyone said already, the option to do things outside the game without minimizing the window. Full Screen it will concntrate compeltly on the game instead of using the gpu/cpu on other thigns too. It's a quirk.
