WebDiRT is super demanding, so I doubt anything can run it smoothly in all conditions at 144. Remember it's 2 screens at 144hz, which requires constant 144fps to stay smooth, since fps drops are way more noticable in VR. I run it at 80hz with a 1080ti and still have a blast. The depth perception and sense of scale will make up for lower refresh rate.
